Literary
Literary translation is the translation of literature genres, from poetry to prose,
from novels to plays, from literary articles to essays, fables and songs.
A literary text is in fact a product of the imagination, the personality and,
ultimately, the style of the writer.
The literary translator has to be deeply familiar with the author's style
in order to understand all the nuances of the original text, recreate its beauty and rhythm,
the context of reference, the distinctive traits of the characters,
the dynamics of their feelings and the unfolding of the story.
The translator must get into the psychology and thoughts of the author to truly understand their style
and do them justice in translating their work into another language.
The beauty of the text is another element that the literary translator
must be able to preserve virtually intact.
